Consultants | Dr. Ann Wheeler

Dr. Ann Wheeler is a Senior Consultant with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLP.  LDW offers consulting services to business and industry, educational institutions, government agencies, and individual clients. Headquartered in the Greater Boston area, LDW also has offices in New York, Denver and Houston, as well as in Europe.  Combined with alliance partners in Hong Kong and Shanghai, LDW serves a diverse clientele across the U.S. and internationally. Ann operates out of the Houston office.

Ann received her Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, followed by her Master’s and Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in Counseling Psychology.  Her clinical training was completed at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.  She has been licensed in the State of Texas since 1994 and is a member of the American Psychological Association and the APA Division of Consulting Psychology.

Ann has 9 years experience consulting to a broad range of executives and senior managers in settings ranging from large corporations to smaller family-owned businesses.  Her work focuses upon executive assessment and development, executive coaching, succession planning, executive integration, senior team development, and implementing organizational change.

Ann also previously taught at the University of Texas Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry.  She was on the Psychology Resident Training Committee, taught courses in psychological assessment and evaluation for both psychology and psychiatry residents, and provided psychological services to adolescent in-patient psychiatric units.  She later moved to private practice, providing individual, family and group counseling, individual evaluations, school consultations, and forensic consultations, including evaluations and court testimony.
