Dr. Debra Smitham is a Senior Consultant with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLP. LDW offers consulting services to business, educational institutions, government agencies, and individual clients. Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, LDW also has offices in New York, Denver, Houston, and Europe.  Combined with alliance partners in Hong Kong and Shanghai, LDW serves a diverse clientele across the U.S. and internationally.  Debra has been with LDW for eleven years and operates out of the Denver office.  She specializes in executive coaching and assessment, pre-hire candidate assessment, organizational team building, and culture assessment and talent acquisition through M&A.  She is also interested in women in leadership.

Debra earned her PhD in counseling psychology from Colorado State University.  She then completed her Clinical Fellowship in psychology through the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, followed by additional post-doctoral training.  Debra is a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado and has been a member of the American Psychological Association since 1997.  Prior to joining LDW, Debra was engaged in clinical work at McLean Hospital, teaching, researching, and supervising students.
