Dr. James C. Abrams is a founding partner of Leadership Development Worldwide. LDW offers consulting services to business and industry, educational institutions, government agencies, and individual clients. Headquartered in the Greater Boston area, LDW also has offices in New York, Denver and Houston as well as in Europe. Combined with alliance partners in Hong Kong and Shanghai, LDW serves a diverse clientele across the U.S. and internationally. Jim operates out of the Boston area office.

Jim graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Vermont and earned his MA and PhD degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Kansas.

Jim has more than 20 years of experience consulting to executives and organizations. He has worked with a wide array of organizations, from international conglomerates to small partnerships and family businesses. His expertise includes executive coaching, management candidate assessment, succession planning, organizational design, and merger integration work. In addition, he has designed and facilitated large-scale organization change processes as well as the alignment of smaller groups around common business goals.

He is licensed as a psychologist in Massachusetts and is a member of the American Psychological Association. He has presented his work at a variety of regional and national business meetings and conventions and in the business press.
