Dr. Patrick S. Perkins is a Consulting Psychologist with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLP.  LDW offers consulting services to business and industry, educational institutions, government agencies, and individual clients.  Headquartered in the Greater Boston area, LDW also has offices in Denver, Houston, and New York, as well as in Europe.  Combined with alliance partners in Hong Kong and Shanghai, LDW serves a diverse clientele across the U.S. and internationally.  Patrick operates out of the New York office. 

Patrick provides executive coaching, pre-hire candidate assessments, developmental assessments, team building, and organizational change consultation.  In addition, he has a particular interest in cultural factors and their influence on coaching, and he has presented his work at international forums such as the International Congress of Psychology in Berlin.  He is currently developing a panel of international presenters to examine the multi-layered cultural dimensions that exist across multinational organizations. 

Patrick was previously a faculty member at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, NY.  In that role, he conducted research, taught advanced residents, and maintained a private practice providing career coaching and development.  Patrick is licensed as a psychologist in New York and is a member of the American Psychological Association, where he belongs to its divisions of Consulting Psychology and Psychoanalysis.  He is a board member of the Society of Consulting Psychology.  In addition, he is a member of The International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations and The Metropolitan New York Association for Applied Psychology.

Patrick received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with Honors and Distinction. He received his master’s and doctorate in clinical psychology from Michigan State University.  He then completed his clinical internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center and post-doctoral fellowships at Weill Cornell Medical College and the William Alanson White Institute.
