Dr. Curt Buermeyer is an Alliance Partner with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC and founder of LeadPeople LLC, an executive leadership development and coaching consultancy in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He is also cofounder of a tech start-up focused on developing a next-generation feedback platform for executives and teams called Givio.
Curt helps executive leaders and their leadership teams become more effective on an interpersonal level to achieve key business results. He has in-depth experience working with CEOs, C-Suite executive teams, and high-potential managers, ranging from some of the world’s largest companies to small 20-person businesses. He has great success helping executives who are at risk for derailment due to emotional intelligence and interpersonal blind spots, as well as preparing the future leaders for important next-level roles.

Curt earned his doctorate and master’s degrees with honors from University of North Carolina at Greensboro in clinical psychology and completed his undergraduate work in psychology at Virginia Tech. He received additional consulting and coaching training through The Leadership Circle, Performance Programs, Inc., Center for Creative Leadership, Global Consulting Partnership and the National Leadership Institute.
He serves as adjunct faculty at the National Leadership Institute at University of Maryland. Curt is affiliated with the Center for Creative Leadership, Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, International Coach Federation, RGP, and CoachSource.
