Greg Janicik, Ph.D.

Dr. Greg Janicik is a Principal with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC operating out of New York City. A seasoned management consulting professional with a track record of designing and implementing successful engagements that help senior leaders drive change and achieve results, Greg has worked with Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, and not-for-profit organizations across a wide range of industries including technology, financial services, life sciences, retail, and media & entertainment. His areas of expertise include CEO and C-Suite Succession and Transition Support, Leading Transformational Change, Senior Team Effectiveness, Executive Assessment and Development, Talent Management and Organization Design.

Prior to joining LDW, Greg founded his own firm and also enjoyed significant success with Mercer Delta, Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting and RHR International. His client success stories include helping to overhaul the leadership and operating culture at a $2.5B technology company by assessing the strengths and gaps in capabilities across the senior team, defining and aligning all senior leaders on the desired operating culture, and expediting the commercial shift to new markets. He also supported the transformation of the marketing & R&D functions at a global consumer goods company by accelerating innovation while improving senior team performance and cross-functional collaboration.

Earlier in his career, Greg was a full-time faculty member of the New York University Stern School of Business while he consulted to CEOs and senior teams of small and midsize companies experiencing fast-paced growth. He continues to work with start-ups and small companies, assisting them with both leadership and organization development. Greg has conducted research on senior teams, and published articles on topics related to team synchronization and its impact on team decision-making and results. Before receiving his advanced degrees, he held various roles in marketing and product management for Hitachi Medical Systems America, Inc., and Westinghouse Electric Corporation.

Greg received his doctorate in Managerial and Organizational Behavior and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his family.
