Janet Bryant, Ph.D.

Dr. Janet Bryant is a Senior Consultant with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC, operating out of Atlanta, GA.

With twenty-plus years of experience in psychology and business, Janet works at the intersection of organizations and individual leaders, helping both to maximize their effectiveness.  She supports organizations in making objective talent decisions that align with their strategic priorities and cultural values and has earned a reputation as a trusted partner to executives by advising on leader selection, retention, succession, engagement, and development initiatives.

As an executive coach, Janet is equally passionate about working with individuals to achieve their personal and business aspirations, fulfill their potential as leaders, and navigate new challenges and/or change.  She creates a safe, yet supportively challenging environment for executives to understand themselves, their goals, and the environments in which they lead.  She collaborates with leaders to identify areas for growth and devise practical ways to build and showcase their skills.

Prior to joining LDW, Janet worked for a large, global talent management firm where she gained extensive experience designing, delivering, and managing implementation of large-scale leadership assessments.  Her expertise also extends to competency model and survey design, identification of high-potential talent, systemic leadership development, and program evaluation.  She has worked with Fortune 100 companies across an array of industries including life sciences, financial services, aerospace, energy, hospitality, entertainment, retail, consumer goods, and manufacturing.

She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Old Dominion University.  She holds an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and English literature from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

In her spare time, Janet devotes significant time and energy to animal rescue and welfare causes.  She also enjoys running, hiking, yoga, and tending to her fledgling vegetable garden.
