Dr. Katrina Johnson is an Alliance Partner at Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC operating out of Atlanta, GA.
A licensed psychologist and scientist by training, Katrina joined the consulting world to apply a data-driven approach to improving leadership and assessing talent. While Katrina’s most recent work has focused largely on assessing and developing management teams in private-equity backed companies, both pre-close and post-close, she has worked with a wide array of industries including healthcare, technology, and retail. She incorporates a blend of assessment, consultation, and coaching to help leaders understand what they have, identify what they need, and execute plans to create profitable business results while supporting the core values of their organization. She provides clients with candor and thoughtful questions to help them develop their own insights and chart their own course toward intentional leadership.
Katrina obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Emory University while studying the impact of stress on cognition and emotion regulation, and then completed her post-doctoral residency in the Emory School of Medicine where she served on the faculty and as the sole psychologist in the Emory Transplant Center, before embracing her passion for management consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University (magna cum laude with honors).
Katrina and her family live in Atlanta, GA. Originally from Florida, she is an avid college football fan, cheering for her beloved (and often beleaguered) Florida’s State Seminoles. She loves spending time near the ocean with her husband and three kids, and in her free time enjoys interior design and exercising outdoors.
