Melanie Kinser, Ph.D.

Melanie Kinser is an Alliance Partner of Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC., operating out of Denver, Colorado. Over the past 15 years, Melanie has partnered with clients globally to create value by focusing on their people.

Melanie leverages her understanding of psychology and business to help leaders and teams strengthen their organizational culture, and in turn, strengthen their bottom line. Specifically, Melanie specializes in leadership and organizational assessment, organizational culture change, safety culture enhancement, senior team effectiveness and integrated talent management.

As a coach, Melanie works with leaders to drive alignment on strategic initiatives and develop the leadership capabilities required to enhance business performance. Melanie is passionate about helping her clients to bring greater awareness to their values and working to lead in alignment with those values. Her impact as a consultant and coach often rests on her ability to develop strong partnerships with leaders and to serve as a catalyst for change.

Melanie has worked with clients to design and deliver leadership development and culture change initiatives to universities, family-owned businesses, Fortune 500 and non-profit organizations in a wide range of industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Utilities, Nuclear, Healthcare, Interior Products and Hospitality. Melanie has deep experience working to strengthen the safety culture of organizations in heavy industry through a focus on leadership. She has served as a keynote speaker and presenter at professional conferences and has consulted extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Canada and Australia.

Melanie earned her Masters and PhD in School Psychology at the University of Missouri and her Bachelor’s at the University of Montana. Melanie served on the Executive Board of the Society of Consulting Psychology (Division 13 of the American Psychological Association) for 12 years and has taught executive education as an adjunct with the Colorado School of Mines.

Melanie lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding and spending time outdoors with her family.
