Rob Kjar, Ph.D.

Dr. Rob Kjar is a Senior Principal with LDW based in Henderson, Nevada near Las Vegas. Rob has been helping leaders and teams achieve high performance, first as a leader inside large organizations in financial services, pharma, and technology, and then as a consultant for more than ten years. Rob has worked with leaders from frontline through C-suite and enjoys helping each one increase their impact on results and inspire others to achieve more. He specializes in assessing executive candidates and incumbents to help organizations improve their leadership bench now and for future growth.  As an executive coach, he has helped many C-suite and senior leaders focus on improvements to achieve individual goals while also facilitating team dialogue and generating broader organizational success.

Most recently, Rob has worked with portfolio company leaders and investment teams in the private equity sector as a part of due diligence activities and improving team cohesion and value creation in line with investment objectives. He has also led small group coaching efforts and enjoys exploring new ways to help leaders share best practices, overcome common challenges, and mentor successors and high-potential leaders.

Rob holds a Ph.D. in Organization Development from Benedictine University and is certified in Goldsmith’s Stakeholder-Centered Coaching methodology and utilizes a variety of best-in-class assessment instruments. In his early career he was certified in many other leadership development tools, models, and programs, and he is able to reference many of these in his individual coaching and team facilitation work.

Living near Las Vegas, Nevada, Rob enjoys desert hikes, motorcycling and kayaking near Lake Mead, and gets time with his family whenever he can. He enjoys a good book and quiet time at the piano when no one is listening.
