Dr. Tim Weitzel is an Alliance Partner with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC, operating out of Verona, WI.
Tim is a seasoned organizational development expert with over three decades of experience transforming workplace cultures and developing leaders. As a consultant and later the Director of Emotional and Social Intelligence (ESI) at Promega Corporation, he pioneered and scaled an innovative ESI department that has contributed to the company being recognized among Wisconsin’s top workplaces for multiple consecutive years.
With expertise in executive coaching, executive assessment for selection and high-potential development, leadership development, and organizational transformation, Tim has worked with Fortune 500 companies across diverse industries as well as many mid-sized organizations and smaller, regional businesses. A particular focus has been creating environments that support high performance while maintaining positive work climates. His approach combines rigorous academic foundations with practical business applications, leveraging his unique background in business administration, organization development, and psychology.
Tim’s thought leadership has been featured in Training & Development Magazine and OD Practitioner, where he has written about innovative approaches to organizational transformation. He has spoken and numerous industry conferences and has been recognized for his pioneering work in emotional and social intelligence implementation in corporate settings.
His distinctive approach combines authenticity with and profound care for the people and organizations with whom he works with strategic business acumen and deep psychological insights, allowing him to effectively bridge the gap between organizational goals and human dynamics.
He holds BBAs in Management and Marketing and an MS in Organization Development from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. He also has a Ph.D. in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Tim enjoys an active lifestyle through competitive rowing, long-distance road bicycling, hiking, and he enjoys volunteering for Hospice and a teen crisis intervention center.
