Dr. Troy Hayes is currently a Senior Consultant at Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC, operating out of the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
Troy is a consulting psychologist with extensive executive experience in the service and large industrial manufacturing industries. He is passionate about working with leaders to bolster business performance through effective leadership and has experienced firsthand how strong leaders can deliver results in both the short-term and long-term. As a result, he has a strong focus on assessment of executive effectiveness, coaching to build capabilities and advising on organizational interventions that create sustainable/long-lasting leadership within companies. Through his many years as an executive in large businesses, he has worked closely as a trusted advisor to leaders and continues that work in his role today. He is a strong business-minded leader who has been regularly recognized for his leadership both internally and externally.
Prior to joining LDW, Troy spent 16 years at Ingersoll Rand where he held multiple roles, including vice president of human resources for several business units and vice president of talent and organizational capabilities for the entire company. He has spent significant time working on organizational structure and change, leadership coaching and development, and merger integration in most regions around the world.
Prior to Ingersoll Rand, Troy worked as a Senior Consultant at RHR International. His nearly 7 years there were focused on executive assessment and development work with numerous domestic and global companies. He has worked extensively overseas and lived in Europe for several years. He was originally educated and trained in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology and holds both a masters and doctorate in Psychology from that institution. His bachelors degree is in Psychology from Brigham Young University with a minor in Italian.
Personally, when not at work, he enjoys travel and adventure with his wife and six children.
