Dr. Anthony J. Saccone (Tony) is the Managing Partner and a Founding Partner of Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC, operating out of Providence, R.I.
He has more than 25 years of experience consulting to executives and organizations, including a range of public and private businesses – from Fortune 500 companies to family businesses, private equity-backed companies, start-ups and entrepreneurships.
Tony’s interests include executive coaching and development, executive assessment, organizational assessment and development, and executive team building. He also has a special interest in internet-based tools for management development.
He is licensed as a psychologist in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and a member of the American Psychological Association, where he belongs to its Clinical Psychology and Consulting Psychology divisions.
Tony is also an adjunct faculty member of the Clinical Psychology Training Consortium at Brown University. He served on the Editorial Advisory Board of The Carlat Behavioral Health Report for ten years and previously served for five years on the Editorial Review Board of Consulting Psychology Journal: Practice and Research. His professional publications focus on methods of creating behavior change, including the use of 360° Feedback processes in executive team building.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in psychology from the University of Connecticut. Following graduate work at the State University of New York at Albany, Tony received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Connecticut. He completed his internship at the University of Connecticut Medical School and Health Center in Farmington.
