Deb Jacobson, Senior Advisor

Formerly the Chief Operating Officer from 2015-2023, Deb Jacobson is now a Senior Advisor to Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC. While Deb was COO, LDW grew significantly and expanded the client base and company offerings.

Deb’s leadership experience includes serving as Board Chair of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, culminating her 10 years of board work. She was Vice President of Corporate Development & Treasurer at LIN Television Corporation, where she ran the M&A and investor relations programs, led the company’s IPO in 2002, and executed numerous senior, subordinated and public financings.

She began her career at The Bank of New York, where she ultimately served as Senior Vice President and head of the media lending division. Deb also participated in the development of the Rhode Island state-based health exchange in 2013.

Deb graduated with Distinction from the University of Virginia and earned an MBA in finance/international business from Columbia University. She is a former board member of Rhode Island PBS Foundation and a served as a member of the regional selection committee for the Jefferson Scholars Foundation of the University of Virginia for several years.
