Kelly Scherer Djuric, Ph.D.

Dr. Kelly Scherer Djuric is a leadership assessment specialist and coach serving as an Alliance Partner of Leadership Development Worldwide. She is based in Chicago, IL.

Kelly has partnered with executives of Fortune 500 clients across a broad array of sectors including financial services, manufacturing/industrial, technology and healthcare to advise in the areas of talent selection, development and succession planning. A large portion of Kelly’s work today includes partnering with private equity firms to assist in talent assessment and development of leaders in portfolio companies. She does this in mind with the PE firm’s goals for the company, ensuring to align assessments and developmental actions to both the individual enterprise’s needs, as well as the broader PE ecosystem’s needs.

As a coach, Kelly looks for ways to build on an individual’s strengths while simultaneously mitigating their risks, helping them see and build their own story through fresh eyes. Kelly’s coaching engagements involve working with individuals to create awareness of the strengths they may continue to leverage in new or different ways, as well as pinpoint the impact of their development areas on their colleagues. Together, Kelly works with leaders to craft actionable development plans focused on implementing new habits that will help them to achieve their professional goals.

Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and English from Villanova University and a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from Purdue University. She is also certified in multiple tools designed to provide workplace insights, including Hogan Assessments.

Her research has been featured in the Journal of Applied Psychology, International Journal of Selection and Assessment, and Personality and Individual Differences, among other peer-reviewed journals. She is also an active volunteer with Chicago’s Cara Program, helping disadvantaged jobseekers obtain and sustain quality employment.
