Luis A. Marrero is an Alliance Partner with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC and also the founder and CEO of The Boston Institute for Meaningful Purpose, which operates in Massachusetts and Florida with a global reach. The Institute is the hub of Meaningful Purpose Psychology research, development, and practice.
Luis pioneered Meaningful Purpose Psychology (Logoteleology) and trains practitioners from multiple disciplines in the logoteleological (MP) method. He has written two books in his area of expertise: The Path to a Meaningful Purpose: Psychological Foundations of Logoteleology (2013) and Meaningful Purpose: A Primer in Logoteleology (2022) with co-author Daniel Persuitte. He is working on his third book, Meaningantics: The Cassandra Paradox and Effect.
Luis has consulted, trained, lectured, coached, and performed psychological and leadership assessments for global companies from diverse industries. He also held senior leadership positions in Fortune 500 companies. In addition, Luis was Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Network for Personal Meaning (Toronto, Canada) and is a leader and founding member of the Work and Organization Division of the International Positive Psychology Association.
Luis received his Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Puerto Rico.. Luis holds a Life Coaching Certificate from the U.K.-based Academy of Modern Applied Psychology. He gained knowledge of Organization Development (OD) from the NTL and Gestalt Institutes. He was an adjunct professor at the NTL Institute, the University of Puerto Rico, and the American Institute of Banking. Luis has practiced OD in senior positions throughout his professional career.
Luis and his wife live in Westfield, Massachusetts, and Deltona, Florida. They have four adult children and enjoy learning and traveling.
