Luis Marrero, MA, RODP

Luis Marrero is a Senior Consultant and Alliance Partner with Leadership Development, LLC, as well as the CEO of the Boston Institute for Meaningful Purpose. Luis is an expert in the field of Organization Development, and considered the pioneer of contemporary meaningful purpose psychology.

Luis provides leadership assessment, development and coaching services and has international experience working in Europe, Canada, Latin America, and the Continental United States. He has worked for Fortune 100 companies both as an internal Human Resource Professional as well as an external consultant. His work experience includes working as a Cast Member and Senior Organization Development (OD) Consultant for The Walt Disney World Company.

Trained in NTL, Tavistock, and Gestalt OD methodologies, Luis partners with senior leaders and HR professionals on improvement initiatives. He is a frequent practitioner, trainer, lecturer, and consultant on OD methods and Meaningful Purpose Psychology.

Luis holds a Bachelor in Arts in History from Siena Heights University, in Michigan; and a Master in Arts in Human Resource Management from Universidad de Puerto Rico. He did post-graduate studies in Organization Development at NTL Institute, Alexandria, Virginia. He is an active member of the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy, the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), and the International Network for Personal Meaning (INPM). Luis is a founding and Steering Committee member of IPPA?s Work & Organization Division; and an active member of two IPPA Committees, Applications, and Governance. Luis also serves as Deputy Chair for the Board of Directors of the International Network on Personal Meaning (INPM). Luis is fluent in Spanish and English.
