Nicole Morris, PsyD

Nicole Morris is a Principal Consultant with Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC, operating out of Chicago, IL.

Nicole has over 18 years of experience in the leadership assessment, development, and talent management space. She works with leaders at all levels of Fortune 500 global companies across multiple sectors including CPG, financial services, manufacturing, technology, private equity, and life sciences. She partners closely with her clients on a wide array of talent topics, with specialization in succession management, executive selection/development assessment, and team effectiveness. Throughout her career she has built custom leadership frameworks, assessment centers, benchmark studies, high potential programs, a technology based coaching program, and numerous bespoke workshops on a variety of topics (e.g., development planning, behavioral interviewing, etc.). She is also a certified NLI Results based executive coach. As a coach, Nicole encourages her leaders to leverage assessment data and personal insights to create greater awareness and new habits to support personal/professional growth. She is passionate about helping leaders be their best selves inside and outside of work.

Nicole is a frequent speaker and panelist on succession planning, assessment best practices, and habit-building research. She has presented at the 2012 and 2018 SIOP Annual Conferences and at the ATD International Conference in 2023. She has been featured in the SHRM Executive Newsletter, The Daily Herald, and HRchat. She is also certified in multiple assessment tools including Hogan Assessments, Insights, and the Rocket Model Team Effectiveness.

Formerly, Nicole was the Head of Enterprise Accounts and an Executive Consultant with the Vaya Group for 14 years. Most recently, she led their succession management practice and a team responsible for delivering executive talent services to many of their largest, strategic accounts. She has also held roles at Allstate Insurance as an internal talent consultant focused on senior team effectiveness and at Grosvenor Capital Management as an HR Generalist.

Nicole received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She earned her Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and her Psy.D. in Business Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
