Rachel Maxwell, Ph.D.

Dr. Rachel Maxwell is a Partner at Leadership Development Worldwide operating out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Rachel has over 20 years of experience in the field of organizational effectiveness and development. Through her work in integrated talent management, leadership development, and executive coaching, Rachel has helped leaders transform their perspective and performance, resulting in a long-lasting positive impact for their organizations.

Rachel has supported a variety of Fortune 500 clients in the life sciences, industrial, automotive, and consumer industries in the areas of global integrated talent management, executive assessment, and succession planning. In addition to her work as an internal and external talent management consultant, Rachel is an executive coach and facilitator drawing upon her experience as the Director of Learning and Development for a large, global talent management firm. She is also an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Rachel earned her Ph.D. in industrial/ organizational psychology from Colorado State University. She holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees (magna cum laude) in psychology and sociology from the University of Georgia. Rachel has published and presented her research and has also won several awards for program design of leadership development and coaching programs at Sun Microsystems, Inc. She holds multiple certifications for assessments, including personality, cognitive ability, and 360 tools.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys yoga, swimming, and playing with her rescue dog. She has a passion for travel and a goal of visiting all of the U.S. national parks.
