Shane Danaher, COO

Shane Danaher serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Leadership Development Worldwide, LLC. He assumed this role in 2023 following an impressive career in healthcare strategy and technology. As COO, Shane continues to build upon LDW’s growth and quality-driven success, bringing forward an agile and future-focused perspective to meet the evolving needs of clients and enhance company offerings. 

Before joining LDW, Shane served as the Chief Operating Officer at Divurgent, a position that honed his expertise in aligning organizational capabilities with client requirements. With a career spanning nearly 20 years in the healthcare field, Shane was instrumental in nurturing productive relationships with providers and healthcare organizations, leveraging his strong technology background and knowledge of the healthcare market to deliver successful client solutions. Shane was also instrumental in leading Divurgent to many accolades such as Modern Healthcare’s ‘Best Places to Work’ and Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies. 

Shane earned an Economics degree from Haverford College and a Masters in Business Administration from Virginia Tech. His affinity for leadership extended beyond his professional roles as he dedicated significant time to professional organizations such as Virginia Chapter of HIMSS, CHIME to hone his leadership approach. Shane prioritizes consensus-building, fostering decisions derived from the collective intelligence of the team. 

Shane has spoken on relevant topics at professional organizations including MGMA, AAHAM, Workshop on Health IT and Economics (WHITE), Digital Health Canada, and others. Additionally, Shane has produced a range of thought leadership across topics of cybersecurity, equity in healthcare, and digital transformation across various mediums such as podcasts, white papers, and books. 

When not spearheading organizational growth, Shane enjoys spending his time running, biking, swimming, tinkering with technology, and spending time with his spouse, children, and rescue dogs.
